General Santos City is the main entrance way to Sarangani by air or sea and have the hotels. We work well together with Gensan and do not compete because they are the main service center and Sarangani as the main tourist center. You have proven a point Sarangans, we should list the restaurants... My wife is Filipina and our son was 3 years old on October 28, 2009. I live in the United States and can only visit a few times each year. In past visits, we have visited beaches around General Santos City and I have been disappointed with the environment. I began a search for the pristine white beach I had in my mind. The search was not so easy. I have to say that it was a challenge to find your resort. I continued to surf the Internet and came across some photos that were from someone who had been to the beaches in Glan and Gumasa and there it was. The pictures showed me just what I was looking for. The real treat and attraction was that I could see that it was not a well-known tourist location. Perfect for what I had in mind. My plan was to have an overnight trip to a resort for our family from Banga in South Cotabato Province. I was hopeful to have a birthday celebration with the family and close friends. The group ranges in age from 1-year-old to 78 years old. I knew it would not be easy to find something for all of them in one location. Your resort and spa was exactly the right place. The facilities were well maintained and were a perfect temporary home for us all. The property was beautiful with green grass, flowers, flowering shrubs and very soft lighting at night. The atmosphere of the property was romantic, party-friendly, entertaining and comfortable all at the same time. Your staff provided every assist we requested. Ice for cooling beverages, gas stove for preparing meals, silent supervision and monitoring of the grounds were all done with the most welcoming and friendly approach. The atmosphere was so pleasant, we were happy to share some special food dishes and included the staff as part of the group. The teenage folks and most of the less-than-50 year olds really enjoyed the Videokie system even if some of the singing made my ears hurt. They all had a good time with the idea of being a singing star, if only for one song. Some others sang and sang and sang. Another universally appreciated activity was the open-water canoe out into the aquamarine colors of the open seas beyond the beach. I think everyone took a ride. The water was crystal clear and gave us great views of the bottom and sea life at least 4 meters deep. The main attraction was the white sand beach. The clear shallow water, the soft sand with little wave action invited everyone to play and look for starfish, which were plentiful and varied in color. A great surprise to me I must say. At low tide we were able to walk through the great stone formations to the west of the resort. Romantic and adventuresome with so much natural beauty made some of these secluded spots breathtaking. And lastly, my wife and I were completely relaxed after our massage, which was arranged, in our room. Candidly, I fell asleep before my massage was finished. My wife was nice enough to wake me so I could say goodnight to my masseuse. I write all this because we had so much fun and relaxation and experienced so many great new things together in your resort and spa. I want to thank you and your staff for all of that. I wish you have great success in your business there but I frankly hope the privacy and intimacy can be kept even with increases in your business. If the beaches become overpopulated, I think you will loose much of the attraction. How do you promote your business success in this great location without bringing too many people? I hope I can bring my wife and son back some day and feel the same seclusion with great natural entertainment that makes such a great memory for us. Thank you and your staff for giving us that.
