This courageous project has been the main study of the marine biologists here in this area. Progressive coral growth in sanctuary areas such as Tinoto is beginning to reap its objectives. In just 2 years, the rewards we see are wonderful growth of coral on artificial reefs, and protection of existing coral beds. Mind you, even the quality and quantity of fish is increasing. Its just exciting to dive and see what new each time! Sarangani diving has a bit of adventure for those who thirst for a bit of current. You know currents often bring the bigger fishes! Last dive I had this January I had a blast -- School of Bumphead emperors about 2 1/2 ft in size and yellow striped goat fishes. Of course , there were a lot of tropical reef fish just doing their thing. The other dive I had last weekend awed me with the Napolean Wrasse just swimming freely the size about 3 1/2 ft long! Black snappers and yellow striped Sweet lips are just great to see in Maasim. In Rocky beach, there is a resident baracuda that watches the open mouth mackarels just having their midday snack. What a treat! So for dive enthusiasts -- its time to take a visit to Sarangani! You wonder how to get here, just book with Go Sarangani Travel at gosaranganitravel@gmail.com and they will give you all the information you need. Plan a trip now and like me, you may just love diving in Sarangani Bay!
