Ziplining the 7 Falls of South Cotabato

-Written by MLS

Lake Sebu is one of the most beautiful places to go to in SOCCSKSARGEN area.  This 891 square kilometer lake is the home of the Tboli's where a rich heritage of history and culture is being preserved until today.  It is also famous for its Tilapia fish cages where you can enjoy the sumptous dishes in the different resorts around the lake.

The climate in Lake Sebu is cool because it has an estimated elevation of 1000 ft high from sea level. At night, the temperature gets cold and is pleasurable for those who seek the highlands and mountain feel.  Lake Sebu's water is not stagnant. It has inflows and outflows.  The 7 falls is one of the lakes outflows.

The trek down from the entrance will take you 100 steps down to see the majestic water falls number 1. From there its a 1.5 hour trek until you reach the 7 falls.

Go Sarangani Team at Falls No. 1.

For those who do not like to trek, you can now zipline over a 700 meter point to point from Falls #1 - to Falls #5 and take the 400 meter zip from Falls #5 to Falls #2.  The amazing thing about the zipline is the awesome view over the waterfalls. If you are as lucky as I am, than you would zip line above 2 rainbows.

Zipline from Falls #5 to Falls #2

Its a good adventure to see in SOCCSKSARGEN. If you wish to go there, GO SARANGANI TRAVEL can prepare a tour package for you inclusive of vehicle, lunch, entrance fees &  zipline experience with our tour guides.  Call us today (083)-5528015 and lets plan a trip to Lake Sebu!

How to get to Lake Sebu... take a bus from Gensan to Marbel. Take another bus from Marbel to Surallah. Then from Surallah you take a jeep to terminal in Lake Sebu. When in Lake Sebu you can take habal-habal around Lake Sebu. If you dont want this kind of rough out travel, call GO SARANGANI TRAVEL at (083) 5528015 and rent a van or take a tour!

Lake Sebu in South Cotabato is one of the most fascinating, amazing, wonderful place I have seen in a very long time. The beautiful scenery adds even more depth to the beauty of the nature. I love every minute of my adventure and will recommend everyone out there to visit the place. I did try the zipline. Gosh! the view under was so breathtakingly beautiful!
